Why I Joined Dixon Financial Services:
“Successful investment management comes from gaining perspective.”
Although I entered the field of investment management in 1992 through a more traditional broker-dealer, it did not take long for me to realize that selling products was not a sustainable way to build lasting advisory relationships and truly help clients. Being an advocate for others has always been a passion of mine, so joining a client-focused firm like Dixon Financial Services in 1995 was a natural and rewarding fit.
Outside of Work, My Passions Include:
Teaching and child advocacy have been passions of mine for many years. After working my way through college as a ski instructor, (helping others learn a sport I love), I turned that same focus toward raising my son Grant, and daughter Megan. Today I volunteer as a youth leader at my local church. My wife Patti and I serve as child sponsorship advocates for Compassion International. I deeply believe in Compassion's vision that we can change the world by breaking the cycle of poverty and encouraging young people to become the ethical leaders of tomorrow. I also enjoy cycling and the occasional round of golf.
